01. Privacy, cookies and data.
Privacy is something we all value. When you visit this website there may be things like Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, and Cookies, that enable me to understand how you use this website and to enable it to function.
There may be aspects that will enable me to identify you. For example, if you sign up (and I recommend that you do) to my 7 steps to PR visibility emails, then I’ll know your name and email address. If you contact me to schedule a call, I’ll have your phone number. Facebook and Google anonymize your data so I may show you something interesting in the form of an ad on FB, but I won’t know it’s you personally.
I keep all of this personal data safe and secure.
I use Active Campaign for emails, and they’re pretty robust (nothing is 100% as any hacker will tell you). My phone is encrypted.
You can unsubscribe in the emails that I send at any time you like.
I will never share your data, and if I connect you with a journalist, I will obtain your permission beforehand.
If you have any questions about how I look after your privacy then please get in touch via my contact page
- your display preferences, such as contrast colour settings or font size
- if you have already replied to a survey pop-up that asks you if the content was helpful or not (so you won’t be asked again)
